Why was my transaction declined?   

To find out why your transaction was declined and to take action, you can review or modify your current orders. Click here or follow these steps: 

  1. Sign in to the online brokerage platform 
  2. Select the Activities tab 
  3. Click Current orders

You will be able to view any declined transactions. 

You can also verify the status of your orders using the NBC Wealth app by following these steps: 

  1. Sign in to the app
  2. Choose National Bank Direct Brokerage among the Wealth Management divisions listed in the dropdown menu (your preferences will be saved next time you sign in)
  3. Make sure that you already set up single sign-on user ID
  4. Click More, then under the Activities section, click Current orders
