The book value of my shares transferred to National Bank Direct Brokerage seems inaccurate. Why is this?

We enter the value provided in the account by the transferring institution, but we are unable to confirm the accuracy of the book value transmitted.

To rectify the situation, please follow the steps below:

• Complete, sign and return the Book Value Adjustment form (27740) by email to directbrokerage@nbc.ca or by mail.
• Attach copies of proof of change, if required. Eligible evidence includes trade confirmations, portfolio statements, and transaction summaries.

Please note that we absolutely must obtain the completed and signed acquisition value form in order to make the correction.

Keep your original proofs. If you send us original documents by mail, they will not be returned to you.
