Where can I find the annual minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts for the RRIF and LIF accounts?

To access it, sign in to the direct brokerage online platform and go to the Portfolio statements or the Registered accounts section. You will also find the frequency of payments.

As of January 1, 2025, if you are an LIF account holder under Quebec legislation and you are 55 years or older at the time of the income request, you will have no withdrawal limit. An estimated lifetime income will be provided to you annually for information purposes only.

Note that it is also possible to access your documents and portfolio statements on the NBC Wealth app.

Make sure that you have the necessary cash available in your RRIF or LIF so that we can make the requested payments. If cash is unavailable at the time of payment, interest will be charged on the resulting debit balance. Additionally, commissions may apply to transactions carried out by an agent if we need to sell a product to cover the account's debit.

See the Commissions and fees page for more information.
