What information is required to submit an account transfer request between institutions?

The following information is required to submit a transfer request:

  1. Name of transferring institution
  2. Account number and type with the ceding institution
  3. NBDB account number and type
  4. Value of assets transferred (approximate)
  5. Type of transfer (select 1):
  • Total in cash (all assets will be sold)
  • Total in goods (as is/no sale)
  • Partial in cash or in kind. Please specify cash amount or securities (symbols and quantities)
  • Mixed. Please specify cash amount and securities (symbols and quantities)
