Does the Canada Learning Bond (CLB) require me to contribute additional money to the RESP?
No, even if you don't put any money into the RESP, the Government of Canada will deposit the CLB at $500 for the first year and $100 for each subsequent year you qualify (until the child turns 15).
Make sure you don't exceed the maximum RESP contribution amount.
