Transferring to NBDB

Are you transferring more than $25,000 from another financial institution to your brokerage account? National Bank Direct Brokerage will refund your transfer fees (when applicable) up to $135 (plus taxes).

Transferring assets to an existing brokerage account 

All you have to do is fill out, print and send us the appropriate transfer form.

Transferring funds from your bank account to your brokerage account

National Bank Direct Brokerage allows you to transfer funds to your brokerage account easily and quickly.

By electronic transfer
You already have a bank account with the National Bank or with any other Canadian financial institution? You can transfer funds electronically directly into your non-registered brokerage account on our transactional website.

Likewise, you can also contribute to your RRSP, TFSA and RESP in just a few clicks.

To link your National Bank bank account to your brokerage account, contact one of our representatives at 1-800-363-3511.

If your bank account is at another financial institution, please fill out the appropriate form and send it to us by mail at:

Make sure you have your bank account and brokerage account information on hand.

By cheque* or bank draft
You can deposit funds in your brokerage account via cheque our bank draft made out to National Bank Direct Brokerage. Make sure you indicate your account number on the cheque, and either bring it to your branch or mail it at:
